K-Trade Institute (KTI) is a research and capacity building centre on Trade, Agriculture and Economic disciplines, driven by the need to provide research and analytical skills in the southern and eastern part of the African continent.

It is a knowledge base institute that aims at building both research and capacity within institutions and individuals based in regional the institutions.

KTI was established as a response to the shortage of skills, training and analysis in the Trade, Agriculture and general Economy in southern and eastern Africa. To date, more than 600 government officials, proffessional and private citizens have received training provided by KTI.
